Since its founding, RepScan has achieved significant milestones, including signing over 1,200 contracts and surpassing its first million euros in sales. The company has also expanded its presence globally, with offices and clients in the United States through its subsidiary in Los Angeles and Miami, and a customer base spanning more than 45 countries.
Innovative Technology for Reputation Management
RepScan operates under a SaaS (Software as a Service) model, offering businesses access to a proprietary platform designed to monitor and protect their online reputation. This advanced tool enables real-time detection of harmful content through a search engine specializing in negative reputation. It also assesses the likelihood of removal and facilitates mitigation efforts. Additionally, the platform allows businesses to manage reviews across multiple locations from a single interface.
A key feature of RepScan’s platform is the Digital Reputation Score, which provides companies with an index to measure both negative and positive perceptions while benchmarking against competitors.
For individuals, RepScan offers a solution to remove unwanted content, including photos, videos, and personal data. This service is crucial in addressing urgent cases, where rapid response is essential to prevent the spread of harmful digital content.
Notably, RepScan has achieved a 96% success rate in content removal while maintaining a strict commitment to ethical and legal standards.
Commitment to Social Responsibility and Innovation
Among its innovative solutions, RepScan has developed the “Red Button Against Cyberbullying,” a groundbreaking initiative aimed at combating online harassment. This tool is particularly relevant in light of alarming statistics from a United Nations report, which highlights cyberbullying as a major contributor to adolescent suicides worldwide. One notable implementation of this solution is by Real Betis Balompié, which has integrated the tool to protect its youth team as well as its men’s and women’s teams, ensuring swift removal of harmful online content.
“The Internet is a vast space that hosts valuable content but also facilitates the anonymous spread of offensive material. At RepScan, we have developed technology to help individuals and businesses reclaim their rights online. Our mission is to restore their right to truth, honor, privacy, self-image, a second chance, and digital reintegration,” explains Josep Coll, co-founder of RepScan. “This funding round will enable us to expand globally, reinforce our presence in international markets, and further enhance our AI-driven technology to automate the detection and removal of harmful online content.”
A Team with a Proven Track Record
RepScan is the second major technology venture of an accomplished entrepreneurial team comprising Mar Jufresa, Coque Moreno, Lluis Llorens, and Josep Coll. In 2009, they successfully founded Red Points, which has since become one of the world’s leading LegalTech companies and a strong contender among Spain’s potential unicorn startups for 2024.
